First Holy Communion - 2012

The minimum age for the reception of this sacrament is a child in Year Three who has already been presented for the Sacrament of Penance (Reconciliation)

Collection of enrolment forms	The enrolment forms can be collected at any of the Sunday Masses on 17th or 24th June
Return of the enrolment forms	Will take place in the St. Joseph’s Room (behind the church) on Tuesdays, 19th or 26th June at 3.15pm or 5.15pm. The child’s baptism certificate will need to be presented (this will be returned) and $20 to cover the costs of the programme.
Leaders meeting	Sunday, 15th July at 6.15pm
Parents’ Information Night	Will take place in the church on Thursday, 19th July at 7.30pm
Commitment Sunday	Sunday 22nd July (at the 9am and 5pm Masses only)
Lessons commence	The week commencing 23rd July
Retreat Day	Monday 3rd September
Practice for Holy Communion	Thursday, 6th September at 3.30pm those children being presented for Holy Communion on Saturday, 8th September. Friday, 7th September at 3.30pm for those children being presented for Holy Communion on Sunday, 9th September. Each of the practices will be followed with an opportunity for Confession. Other times for Confession will also be available and will be notified.
First Holy Communion Masses	Saturday, 8th September 2012 at 10.30am Sunday, 9th September 2012 at 9am

Special notes for all sacraments

The baptism certificates that will need to be presented when the enrolment forms are returned should be obtained beforehand and not requested when returning the forms.
People from other parishes, such as Berkeley or Dapto, should normally enrol for the sacraments in their own parishes.
